Mintlaw Business Park

Bancon submitted a Local Development Plan bid for a mixed use development in Mintlaw, which includes around 5 hectares of business land, in November 2008. The Main Issues Report supports considerable growth in Mintlaw, and recommends the allocation of the business land as proposed. Bancon are keen to ensure development can be delivered quickly once the Proposed Local Development Plan is approved, and the Council indicate that some sites may be brought forward in the shorter term.

Bancon are therefore keen to use the now statutory community consultation process to the best possible advantage, rather than it being a rushed job in a few months time. We wish to ensure that our proposals have the best possible community input, and that we have the time to consider amendments as a result of the consultation process,

A 'Proposal of Application Notice' (PAN) was submitted to Aberdeenshire Council, outlining our proposed timescale for consultation, and the events to be held. This website will hopefully provide an additional way for the community to consider the information, and to make comments directly to us.
